EXAMINATIONS SPECIALIST - 1 Year Contract

Our Client is a leading educator in the insurance industry whose vision is to be recognized as the premier provider and authority on professional development within the general insurance and financial services sector.  They are looking to hire an Examinations Specialists to join their Examinations Department on a one year contract. 

Your mandate will be to work within the Examinations Department assessing and developing examination questions and related data in the preparation of national examinations for a professional designation within the property & casualty insurance industry.

Our ideal candidate will have an Undergraduate Degree in Education or related discipline coupled with insurance industry knowledge/Underwriting experience within property and casualty with exceptional communication, writing and proofreading skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Quality review of selected exam questions and related data
• Revise reviewed questions and related data as needed in the database
• Categorize exam questions based on determined criteria and enter information into database
• Refine multiple-choice questions
• Create new exam questions and related data to populate database

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree in Education or related discipline
• CIP or FCIP designation
• Proficient computer skills and database use
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Statistical analysis skills
• Experience with testing and evaluation an asset
