DIRECTOR IT TRANSFORMATION

Our client is currently in the process of a new systems implementation. The new systems installation will cover all aspects of the business including ERP, CRM and Planning. The role will manage and coordinate full-cycle project activities required to implement the new systems release, migration work, business training, change management and data cleansing. This senior and pivotal role will suit a seasoned Information Technology professional and Business Leader with strong project management skills and experience managing system integration and business change activities for various MRP/ERP implementations.

MANDATE:

Our ideal candidate will come from the manufacturing industry and have the experience for translating business requirements into an approach that is executable and delivers on business goals. Collaborating closely with the other functional teams for ensuring that technology related project deliverables are of the highest quality and that scope is managed according to original plans. The Director IT Transformation, acts as the key interface point to the core project team based in corporate office and manufacturing sites and collaborates closely with project leads, departmental managers and third-party vendors and partners to maintain overall architecture coherence, by ensuring compliance with core team standards and for successfully representing the systems migration through all phases from design to implementation/deployment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 10+ years Project Management experience in successful delivering large scale systems migration  
• Experience conducting technical requirements gathering, technical analysis and identification of key success metrics, partnering with the Departmental Heads to represent technology through all key phases of the project life-cycle to manage client expectations and project risk
• Experience preparing and deliver proposals and presentations to all levels of a client’s organization in addition to regular project documentation such as schedules, status reports and technical documentation
• Experience in managing integration activities on various ERP/MRP systems in a manufacturing (CPG) environment
• Experience of managing/working with multi-site, multi-discipline project teams
• Experience in working with vendors and system integration consultancies
• Skilled in key project management disciplines – planning and tracking, time and task management, risk and issue management, stakeholder engagement (internal and external)
• Good architectural skills – ability to interpret and create system, application and data architecture models and to communicate their meaning and importance
• Good understanding of change management practices - ability to mentor business teams in their implementation, and ability to work with IT product owners to co-craft successful integration processes
• Strong influencing skills and excellent team player
• Delivery and customer focused: delivers every time to high standards – time, quality, efficiency and value
• Strong understanding of various ERP/MRP systems
• Blueprint and contribute to its successful delivery by the project teams
• Skilled user of MS Project and MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Visio)
• Good understanding of core IT Applications disciplines and technically aware
