Our client is a tier 1 global leader in the consumer goods industry and they are looking to hire a dynamic Brand Manager. This role will involve leading a large cross functional team and creating an annual brand plan to deliver on share, revenue and operating income goals. The mandate is to closely monitor business, category and competitive trends within the industry and to develop business strategies and tactics to achieve the desired corporate results. Making recommendations to modify annual plans on the fly and addressing opportunity gaps is essential in the role.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop plans and programs that will establish and maintain current and long range markets for designated products.
- Manage advertising, budgeting, forecasting, sales and inventory requirements, and projecting profit and market share.
- Partner with global/category team to develop brand consumer and professional positioning.
- Lead development of annual spending plan and execution plan.
- Coordinate with consumer, channel and professional marketing to prioritize spending behind key strategies and tactics to deliver operating targets.
- Ensure effectiveness of spending and make adjustments proactively as needed.
- Work with sales management and sales training to provide key messages needed for sales force to execute brand plan.
- Monitor and evaluate product development programs, competitive information, market trends, customer needs, and product performance.
- Coordinate development of product advertising, pricing, and distribution policies to achieve marketing goals for the brand.

REQUIREMENTS:
- University Degree in Marketing or Commerce
- 5 years in consumer brand management
- Proven cross functional leadership capability with the ability to work collaboratively
- Leader and innovator of creative marketing ideas
- Strategic planning, problem solving, and analytical skills
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to relate well with customers and influence people
- Strong computer skills Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint
