Retained Methodology
After years of practice in the strategic recruitment industry of Canada, we’ve refined talent acquisition to a T, delivering exceptional candidates with momentum and precision.
Step One: Reconnaissance
An initial meeting at your office provides a foundation for discovery. A PSG consultant conducts a needs analysis and assists in the development of a job description. Our recruitment strategy is introduced and recommendations are made on methods for attracting complementary candidates.
Before the search process begins, we study your market and competitors to ensure a solid understanding of your business.
Realistic timelines are crafted and tailored to meet each client’s expectations on search deliverables.
Step Two: Search
We begin the search using our broad network to identify prominent industry players. Appropriate candidates are directly contacted to determine interest and suitability while maintaining your company’s confidentiality.
The most qualified and congruent candidates are revealed through a meticulous screening process involving face-to-face interviews and professional profile assessments. Our unique profiling system exposes each finalist candidate’s professional management style and behavior, enabling us to determine a proper fit for you and your organization.
Step Three: Select
Finalists are introduced to you on average in four to six weeks through a presentation summarizing their strengths and opportunities for development, professional motivators, current and past experience, and the forms of supervision that are effective in managing them.
At the conclusion of each interview, we debrief with both parties to ensure expectations are being met. Once a suitable candidate is selected, we check references and facilitate the negotiation process by helping you develop, extend and obtain acceptance of an offer.
We conclude the process by advising runner-up candidates of their status in a cordial and professional manner.
